Being responsible for social media for a cultural student organization on campus allowed me to blend creativity with strategy in a meaningful way. As the Social Media Chairperson from 2022-2024, I captured and curated photo and video content from cultural events, meetings, and key moments, transforming them into engaging Instagram posts that amplified visibility and strengthened community connection. I also focused on maintaining a visually cohesive feed and ensuring that content communicated both the organization’s message and the significance of each event.
In addition, I tracked and monitored key performance indicators by analyzing views, reach, engagement rates, and optimal posting times to better understand audience behavior and improve the overall social media presence. I used these insights to refine content strategy and test different formats such as reels, carousels, and story content, helping increase visibility and consistency across the organization’s Instagram presence.
